Umweltraum((a)) invites you to step into a shifting, sonic swamp, created by sound artist Sonia Killmann and immersive artist Laura Mannelli.

Inspired by Jakob von Uexküll’s Umwelt theory—which suggests that every living being experiences a unique, subjective reality—this installation envisions a dystopian ecosystem where perception is fluid.  Imagine stepping inside a soap bubble of another creature’s world, where time and space dissolve into something unfamiliar.

Blending stark, machinic visuals with an interactive organic soundtrack, Umweltraum((a)) explores the tension between nature and technology. The installation also features a live performance composed by Sonia Killmann, further immersing audiences in its evolving, otherworldly environment.
