Deep Dive is for musicians aged 16-25 who are interested in exploring electronic and live music making.
Deep Dive is an artist development programme for young musicians who feel they would benefit from a relaxed, welcoming space to meet, learn, and gain confidence in sharing their ideas with each other.
This co -curated programme is participant led, and responsive to their needs, including sessions with industry specialists and professional musicians to stimulate new ideas and knowledge. By providing these mentorship and networking opportunities we hope that this will develop their music-making skills and the next generation of electronic musicians.
Following an open call, nine musicians in 2022 were selected- Adam Strachan, Aimee Ventilla- Kelly, Aiysha Russell, Blair Nicol, Blair Wallace, Callum Knight, Eyve Madyise, Zach Macdonald and Zuzia Boguslawska.
Deep Dive 2022 was funded by the Scottish Government’s Youth Music Initiative through Creative Scotland and Glasgow Connect Arts Network, delivered in partnership with the Deep End and Glad Café.
