SHHE presents D Ý R A, a nighttime inspired installation preparing people for sleep. Using landscape, light and sleep as a method for creating sound and exploring liminal states and environments, this new multidisciplinary work by Portuguese-Scottish artist, musician and producer, Su Shaw, combines ambisonic and hydrophone recordings captured during time spent in daytime darkness in the Westfjords of Iceland. Presented in quadraphonic, D Ý R A is a sonic, visceral and meditative reimagining of the Dýrafjörður landscape.
