Our YMI funded artist development programme Deep Dive has come to an end, but we wouldn’t let them go without sharing their talent! Over the last 5 months, the musicians have explored their electronic and live music making skills with the help of some inspiring mentors. Join them at the Glad Café for a night of collaboration, featuring live music performances and DJ sets. Accompanied by live visuals from Georgina Penskart.
Meet the Musicians
Aiysha
Aiysha is a RnB singer and songwriter from Aberdeen. Having featured on tracks with the many well-known musicians, from Melroze to $AVAGE, she is releasing her own music at the end of the year. Aiysha will perform a cover on the night, along with a song herself and fellow Deep Divers EYVE and Zach are currently producing.
Blair Wallace
Blair Wallace is an artist and DJ based in Glasgow. The artist is a recent graduate from the Glasgow School of Art with his most recent work included in the TramwayTV series and highlighted by The Skinny in their GSA Degree Show Review. Having been a regular guest at Glasgow’s favourite club night Shoot Your Shot while being a resident DJ at Isotope at the Berkeley Suite.

CK
CK is a Producer, Rapper, instrumentalist and DJ. Starting out as producing for artists such as Karmz, he now pursues his goal of becoming a mainstream artist. Through his deep lyrics and his wide range of flows and beats, he is starting to make a name for himself within the trap, grime and hip-hop scenes in the UK.
Born in Scotland to an English father and a Trinidadian mother he’s grown up around multiple cultures all his life. He finds inspiration from grime, drill, trap, dancehall and Trinibad. He infuses the Caribbean riddim in his music while his lyrics talk about life in Britain.

Eyve
Eyve is a singer, rapper and songwriter who understands music to be a universal language, and has found a prodigious experience in coming together with others to make music and perform. Rap has been a strong means of expression for Eyve, whose sound as a solo artist is influenced by hip hop, pop R&B, reggae, her African roots and jazz.
Eyve was a part of pilot programme INCUBATA with We Are Here Scotland, and recently performed at Cryptic Nights 2022 with visual artist Veronica Petukhov. Eyve also works with Sound Lab and Music Space, and recently released her first single The Status Quo which can be listened to on all music platforms.
KnighteffectZ, also known as CDK or simply Callum is a tech house artist who dabbles with Hardstyle. He seeks to create very musically driven tracks with simple but catchy and relatable lyrics. In this session we bring out the summer vibes with good grooves and strong futuristic beats. We look at how much of a miracle life truly is and appreciate the fun in music. Having mainly self taught and trained briefly at Riverside Music College, Callum has a passion for performing thanks to his study of Acting at New College Lanarkshire. He has incorporated music into everything he does, including film, theatre productions and other live events.

Mours
Mours is a an Aberdonian dyslexic songwriter based in Glasgow. His music takes inspiration from the likes of Thom Yorke, Sigur Ros, Young Fathers and Bjork. Expect aggressive synths, washy guitar melodies, saturated beats and ethereal falsetto vocals…

NICOL
NICOL is a DJ & Producer hailing from Dundee and is 1/3 of the Public House collective. He’s gained a reputation for pushing a unique sound in Dundee, joining the dots between Electro Wave and techno.
Suzie
Suzie, originally from Poland and now based in Glasgow, has been quickly making a name for herself in the Scottish club scene since her explosive debut at the Berkeley Suite in January 2022. With a win at the Fly Open Air DJ competition under her belt, she secured a slot at the Festival and has since played the booths of various venues in Glasgow and beyond. Inspired by the techno culture of her homeland, Suzie’s style blends different techno genres – from hard groove to acid – with more percussion-driven music like breaks and reggaeton loops creating a sense of surprise in every set.
