Following Diane Edwards Sonic Bites on Thu 27 May, SOUR DIRT maps a series of mysterious spaces somewhere between unruly wilds, non-living growth and toxic clouds. Developed in a time of multiple crises, the artist interrogates the ways in which we experience ecologies and landscapes in both the physical and virtual realm. Journeying through land, life and nature, she draws parallels with our mutating climate and our ceaseless, malevolent methods of extraction, manipulation, production and consumption.
